Romain Berrewoutss short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Benito Sanz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Louis Van Campenhout might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Louis Van Campenhout ran back to his position shaking his head. 45 minutes into the game, Aaron Alcocer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fox Hunting Squad the free kick. After 46 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Alcocer. Benito Sanz didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 47th minute, which inside left pole to 6-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Axel Tasis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romain Berrewouts, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute.
