In the 16th minute of the match 【粤】胜利红人馆 got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Luca Rouco hit a great ball. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. CJ Ballack could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. In the 37th minute, Facundo Cadaval hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by 【粤】胜利红人馆's CJ Ballack. But to his dismay, CJ Ballack quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 朱傲义 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Fernando Bastos in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joel Gaona made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that 【粤】胜利红人馆's Fernando Bastos managed to reach the ball for a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Mancebo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by 严康洲 in the 75th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
