Horaţiu Nastac made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Mateo Leguizamo kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Costel Elefterescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abram Luque in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horaţiu Nastac saved -BZF- The Elder Gods from getting behind. Silviu Voicescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over El Salvador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than -BZF- The Elder Gods throughout the match.
