Luz Tejedor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alisson Beckers having to interfere. Dino Grilli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dino Grilli got free with Rolando Noboa in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aytuğ Çağa in the 24th minute of play. Alisson Beckers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aytuğ Çağa in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aytuğ Çağa, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Efraim Gilabert hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the match, Aytuğ Çağa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rolando Noboa, 2-0. In the 47th minute, Alonso Berganza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Fluffy White Bunnies's attentive Guido Rodas managed to snatch the ball when Moises Gayoso made a throw-in in the 51st minute of the game. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aytuğ Çağa in the 52nd minute of the match. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Peru's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Guido Rodas was slow to take the kick. During this time Fluffy White Bunnies's players had a chance to rest. Fluffy White Bunnies's Guido Rodas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rolando Noboa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aytuğ Çağa in the 56th minute of play. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Alonso Berganza hit a great ball. Fluffy White Bunnies made a substitution. Bogumil Biskupiak replaced Dino Grilli. 61 minutes into the game, Guido Rodas threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Alonso Berganza quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Julian Murillo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alisson Beckers came out and tried to block the shot, but Julian Murillo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 63rd minute. Fluffy White Bunnies's Guido Rodas quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Eliseo Mina, made in the 68th minute of the game. In the 77th minute Gabriel Niitsoo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, Guido Rodas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fluffy White Bunnies made a substitution. Hans Söderqvist replaced Coronel Fuster. After 78 played minutes Fluffy White Bunnies got a freekick which was hit by Guido Rodas. Julian Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Alisson Beckers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. With a little luck, Fluffy White Bunnies's Alisson Beckers got control of the ball when Antonio Tenorio tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Niitsoo in the 90th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fluffy White Bunnies succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Peru had controlled the match.
