The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Tasos Fasoulas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stone City's supporters rose to their feet, but Tasos Fasoulas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Gayoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew the final whistle, Stone City could leave the field as winners, despite Uruguay having more of the ball for most of the match.
