In the 5th minute Martial Haas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Martini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SILMONT's Qiu Zhi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manfred Rudqvist in the 9th minute of play. Bruno Martini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Albaret in the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th minute of the match SILMONT got a corner. Manchester United FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Thomas Albaret ran over to the corner to take the kick. Freddy Escudié sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Martini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano Guimarães, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. When Manchester United FC's Manfred Rudqvist in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a little luck, Manchester United FC's Bruno Martini got control of the ball when Martial Haas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 30th minute of the match, Titouan Canal got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bruno Martini was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of Manchester United FC booed when SILMONT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano Guimarães didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the match, SILMONT's goal looked a bit too open when Manfred Rudqvist came free, but Qiu Zhi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manfred Rudqvist to make the kick off. Adriano Guimarães struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Bruno Martini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SILMONT. Theo Hernandez hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. SILMONT's Javier Bordat was substituted for Thomas Albaret. A collision led to SILMONT getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Theo Hernandez hit a great ball. Dariusz Zajac kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, SILMONT's goalkeeper Qiu Zhi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Freek Tamminga. 70 minutes into the game, SILMONT's Martial Haas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Martini made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Martial Haas might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bruno Martini. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Martial Haas ran back to his position shaking his head. SILMONT's Adriano Guimarães got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Qiu Zhi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joachim De Jonghe in the 82nd minute of play. A collision led to Manchester United FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Donato Galvão hit a great ball. The SILMONT fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when SILMONT's Javier Bordat looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martial Haas in the 87th minute of play forced Manchester United FC's goalkeeper Bruno Martini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute Manfred Rudqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qiu Zhi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martial Haas hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. 96 minutes into the game, Manfred Rudqvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Qiu Zhi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee ended the match the SILMONT players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
