In the 9th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the game, Robert Zdrojowy recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Robert Zdrojowy showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. A collision led to BRDA PRZECHLEWO getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Zbigniew Niziolek hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Robert Zdrojowy put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Zbigniew Niziolek might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zbigniew Niziolek ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zbigniew Niziolek in the 23rd minute of play. In the 28th minute, Robert Zdrojowy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind BRDA PRZECHLEWO's goalkeeper Gilbert Sanocki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gilberto Larpe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute Robert Zdrojowy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th match minute, BRDA PRZECHLEWO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kåre Bock to maneuver through the defense. Robert Zdrojowy made a great header on BRDA PRZECHLEWO's corner, it was just that Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant managed to reach the ball for a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilbert Sanocki saved BRDA PRZECHLEWO from getting behind.
