Rogerio Fontarigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 7th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Flinston FC - DMZ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 19th minute. Penalty! In the 20th minute there was a penalty for Panama. Abraham Alguacil stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rogerio Fontarigo. 0-1. After 23rd play minutes Talib Al Ajmi shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Marcos Cotilla and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 30th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Ros to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute Isidoro Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogerio Fontarigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alex Cambeiro hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute Tomas Herruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Diogo Oliveira to make the kick off. After 59 minutes of play Flinston FC - DMZ's Duarte Seco was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Panama made a substitution. Estefania Rasgado replaced Abraham Alguacil. After 61 played minutes Flinston FC - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Duarte Seco. 63 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Herruz came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dinei Botelho hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. 76 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Diamantino de Queiroz came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The nice shot from Estefania Rasgado in the 81stth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Rogerio Fontarigo had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Flinston FC - DMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Berganza ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Tomas Berganza almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Flinston FC - DMZ's Rogerio Fontarigo did a great save. 87 minutes into the game Tomas Berganza kicked a great long shot which passed Rogerio Fontarigo straight ahead into the goal, Result 1-2. One couldn't see Tomas Berganza behind all of his teammates who surrounded to congratulate him. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Herruz in the 92nd minute of the match. Basílio Velasco kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Panama's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
