The Mexico fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Mexico's Joel Gaona looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Joel Gaona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Guilherme Marques read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute of the match Mexico got a corner. BRASIL.Sp's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Elói Amaral charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elói Amaral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 24 played minutes BRASIL.Sp got a freekick which was hit by Elói Amaral. Facundo Cadaval fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Guilherme Marques having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Nilson Perez managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 37th match minute, BRASIL.Sp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elói Amaral to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. The corner ended in Alberto Tafalla almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but BRASIL.Sp's Luís Guilherme Marques did a great save. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 41st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lautaro Mancebo in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Guilherme Marques prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fagondo Vasquez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save.

The wind increased when Fagondo Vasquez made the kick off in the second half. Luís Guilherme Marques stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Tafalla's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. 51 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Mexico's Alberto Tafalla fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Luís Guilherme Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 69th minute Marcinho Félix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th match minute, BRASIL.Sp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elói Amaral to maneuver through the defense. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fagondo Vasquez in the 79th minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Akiba Teben in the 86th minute of the match. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Facundo Cadaval hit a great ball. Mexico played a much better game than BRASIL.Sp and deserved their victory. The BRASIL.Sp players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
