Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 18 played minutes, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luís Guilherme Marques came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Venezuela reached it. The supporters of Venezuela booed when BRASIL.Sp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilson Perez didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Fagondo Vasquez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 1-0. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Fagondo Vasquez took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. Luís Guilherme Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venezuela's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomas Illescas in the 42nd minute. Salvador Gisbert made a great header on Venezuela's corner, it was just that BRASIL.Sp's Luís Guilherme Marques managed to reach the ball for a save. Akiba Teben sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Fagondo Vasquez made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of BRASIL.Sp booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. Elói Amaral hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Guilherme Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 62 minutes, Jonathan Venegas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the BRASIL.Sp players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 62nd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. After 77 played minutes BRASIL.Sp got a freekick which was hit by Elói Amaral. After 85 minutes of play, BRASIL.Sp's Akiba Teben made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Akiba Teben received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. BRASIL.Sp walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
