The audience thought a goal was coming when 胡光珂 got free with Lautaro Navarro in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 山东聊城老伯爵联队's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Villa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 康森潮 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmundo Espiga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Esteban Carvallo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
