Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mattias Smefeldt took the kick off in the first half of the match. Francisco Seco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fredrik Bennet having to make a save. In the 8th minute, Olov Bäckström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francisco Seco scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fredrik Bennet, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mattias Smefeldt in the 17th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fredrik Bennet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maximiliano Escribano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th match minute, Samurai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olov Bäckström to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute, Roger Kalfhage hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mattias Smefeldt in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute of the match, Mattias Smefeldt tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Joaquin Gayoso saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 41st minute, Maximiliano Escribano made a precise shot to the right of Fredrik Bennet. Samurai's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Francisco Seco to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Samurai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Kalfhage didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisco Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Fredrik Bennet made a huge save. An unexpected shot in the 54th minute by Francisco Seco got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 61st play minutes Francisco Seco shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Fredrik Bennet and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 64th minute Mattias Smefeldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the game, Uruguay's Francisco Seco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fredrik Bennet made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. When Alberto Gisbert came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Uruguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Gisbert couldn't finish the play. Francisco Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Fredrik Bennet made a huge save. After 76 played minutes Samurai got a freekick which was hit by Roger Kalfhage. Francisco Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Uruguay's Francisco Seco got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jaime Cazalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredrik Bennet having to interfere. Maximiliano Escribano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Fredrik Bennet made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olov Bäckström during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Samurai's Olov Bäckström got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 93rd match minute, Samurai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Åke Eriksson to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Francisco Seco hit a great ball. Uruguay's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
