The audience thought a goal was coming when Heliodoro Verdu got free with Julio Vera in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 14 minutes into the match, Tough and Tasty FC's Heliodoro Verdu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Agustin Orion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 19th minute of the match. Agustin Orion showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Tough and Tasty FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The tension between the Tough and Tasty FC and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 58 played minutes Tough and Tasty FC got a freekick which was hit by Sonny Sigman. After 69 minutes of play, Tough and Tasty FC's Heliodoro Verdu made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 72nd minute, which Agustin Orion however easily saved by the left post. 75 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Sonny Sigman came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Tough and Tasty FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Charly Alcaraz hit a great ball. Agustin Orion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Agustin Orion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tough and Tasty FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
