Älta BK's Lucas Rolfsson got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Rolfsson in the 13th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Lucas Rolfsson took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. In the 24th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. After 25 minutes of play, Älta BK's Lucas Rolfsson made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucas Rolfsson in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Älta BK's Rareș Nicola quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alex Chicote, made in the 32nd minute of the game. Lucas Rolfsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lucas Rolfsson ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 36th minute of the match, Lucas Rolfsson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Ferrant saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucas Rolfsson went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lukas Falkrans went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Rolfsson in the 51st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Älta BK made a substitution. Henning Gulliksson replaced Björn van der Doelen. In the 58th minute Älta BK were awarded a corner. Theo Lucius went to the cornerflag to take it. 59 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Älta BK getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Iago Xerifão hit a great ball. Älta BK were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Theo Lucius took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Theo Lucius got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience was convinced that Javier Turi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. After 83 minutes, Camilo Gaos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Älta BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theo Lucius in the 84th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mosinho Mos made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink managed to get in a good position for a shot. Älta BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 89th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
