Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Costa Rica's Axel Tasis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zebastian Palmkvist in the 5th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Åke Utter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filip Örtlund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Örtlund in the 13th minute of play. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filip Örtlund in the 16th minute of the match. Filip Örtlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Örtlund came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Abel Carballo hit a great ball. After 25 played minutes, FC NILS's Zebastian Palmkvist shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benito Sanz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC NILS reached it. 27 minutes into the game, FC NILS's Zebastian Palmkvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filip Örtlund got free with Benito Sanz in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 34th minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Åke Utter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Filip Örtlund put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. Florencio Gaueko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Åke Utter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benito Sanz had great luck who in the 44thth minute grab hold of the ball when Filip Örtlund from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 45th minute of the match FC NILS got a corner. Costa Rica's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zebastian Palmkvist ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Zebastian Palmkvist got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Benito Sanz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Filip Örtlund to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Filip Örtlund notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Örtlund in the 59th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Rubio to maneuver through the defense. Stefan Edberg kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Costa Rica's Axel Tasis couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC NILS. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Örtlund in the 67th minute of play. Håkan Löfgren hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. FC NILS made a substitution. Christer Boberg replaced Pol Putov. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zebastian Palmkvist in the 73rd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Darin Bozduganov came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Darin Bozduganov in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Florencio Gaueko came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the FC NILS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florencio Gaueko couldn't finish the play. In the 88th minute, Abel Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute Darin Bozduganov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Alcocer to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis got a free kick in the 95th minute. In the 95th minute of the match Florencio Gaueko sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz skillfully saved the ball. FC NILS walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
