With his leg Bruno Barrett managed to avoid a goal in the 3rdth minute, when Mete y Raspa FC's Manolo Gimenez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Obano Moreyre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stanley Wallace in the 5th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Manolo Gimenez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manolo Gimenez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Obano Moreyre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyle Davies in the 16th minute of the match. Obano Moreyre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kyle Davies, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After a rather tough play, Mete y Raspa FC's Nuno Guitart got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Manolo Gimenezs short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Bruno Barrett to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Curacao's Bruno Barrett proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Curacao from getting a goal against them. In the 28th minute Mete y Raspa FC were awarded a corner. Nuno Guitart went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Nuno Guitart got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bruno Barrett quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After having played for 29 minutes, Kyle Davies managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Curacao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kyle Davies was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 34 minutes into the game, Manolo Gimenez lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manolo Gimenez's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute Manolo Gimenez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Mete y Raspa FC's Manolo Gimenez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Manolo Gimenez in the 47thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bruno Barrett, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manolo Gimenez made a kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mete y Raspa FC's goalkeeper Obano Moreyre, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 55 minutes, Troy Kennedy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curacao and the Mete y Raspa FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Curacao getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Troy Kennedy hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manolo Gimenez in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Barrett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manolo Gimenez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inge Pisciña in the 63rd minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oto Valtierra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Grabiel Gort's late challenge caught a Curacao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Grabiel Gort helped the player get up and apologised. Grabiel Gort hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manolo Gimenez in the 72nd minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Curacao's goal looked a bit too open when Ignazio Betanzos came free, but Bruno Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Inge Pisciña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Bruno Barrett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manolo Gimenez in the 78th minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Curacao defense, Manolo Gimenez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Barrett. The Curacao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Barrett should have stopped the shot. Harvey Doyle's late challenge caught a Mete y Raspa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Harvey Doyle helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Curacao fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 87th minute. Penalty! When the referee ended the match the Mete y Raspa FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
