After 46 played minutes FC Pegasas Siauliai got a freekick which was hit by Juras Tolvaiša. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wiktor Dropinski made a kick off. Pavel Romanescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 50th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernestas Alvinskas in the 78th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Pegasas Siauliai's Pavel Romanescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save FC Pegasas Siauliai from getting a goal against them. Pavel Romanescu made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pavel Romanescu came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristian Sancho slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 83rd minute. After having played for 90 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of FC Pegasas Siauliai booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball.
