Emil Chlapowski had in the 14thth minute some difficulties stopping Edmundo Espiga's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Bone Breakers's Emil Chlapowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bone Breakers's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. When Milagros Cabal fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Honduras's protests and gave Milagros Cabal a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Bone Breakers booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milagros Cabal didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Edmundo Espiga fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Bone Breakers's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
