The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Wellington Recife charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of Mexico booed when FC WAWER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Falalu Falah didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 23 played minutes, Mexico's Joel Gaona shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper 安柯 Sar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mexico reached it. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, FC WAWER's Mikolaj Majtyka got a free kick in the 38th minute. Herbert Barycz hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 安柯 Sar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After 44 played minutes FC WAWER got a freekick which was hit by Witomir Nigbor. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC WAWER's 安柯 Sar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 55th minute of play. Lorenzo Cazalla kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After 64 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Cazalla. The supporters of FC WAWER booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Leoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. He Qi Mo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dante Lacasa having to make a save. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from He Qi Mo in the 73rd minute of the match. FC WAWER's Alvaro Pérez García was substituted for Owen Vera. 85 minutes into the match, He Qi Mo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that He Qi Mo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 安柯 Sar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 96th minute. When Eduard Boșneag fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC WAWER's protests and gave Eduard Boșneag a yellow card for diving instead. After 97 played minutes FC WAWER got a freekick which was hit by Eduard Boșneag. The FC WAWER support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
