Periklis Zorbadelos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abraham Alguacil went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Tomas Berganza kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Tomas Berganza notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Green Horses's Periklis Zorbadelos. Periklis Zorbadelos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Vaios Petridis sent off a good shot on target. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. In the 19th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento made a precise shot to the right of Periklis Zorbadelos. Green Horses's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 22nd minute, Loukas Brizolakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Babbis Markatos in the 37th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Isidoro Sarmiento notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Green Horses's Periklis Zorbadelos. Periklis Zorbadelos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After recieving a nice pass, Green Horses's Babbis Markatos tried to score from far away in the 59th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apostolos Mavrokordatos in the 65th minute of play. After some careless play in the Panama defense, Apostolos Mavrokordatos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. Tomas Berganza kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Notis Bartzokas came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abraham Alguacil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 78th minute, Panama's Tomas Berganza dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6. Periklis Zorbadelos made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Abraham Alguacil sent off a good shot on target. When Miguel Miralles came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Miralles couldn't finish the play. When Babbis Markatos fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Green Horses's protests and gave Babbis Markatos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Periklis Zorbadelos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panama's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
