Rolando Noboa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Valentin Voicu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 32 minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Bennvar Trollegaard came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emmanuel Reyes kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 59th minute of the match, Eliseo Mina tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Baraxil Sarrate saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
