Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Cenap İğdemir started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. JFSP's Moisés Novaes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 4th minute of play. After 11th play minutes Isidoro Sarmiento shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Moisés Novaes and just under the crossbar into goal. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rubinho Zanette in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baykal Yanal. 22 minutes into the match, Baykal Yanal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baykal Yanal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Miguel Miralles hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Eduardo Lara in the 28th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cenap İğdemir who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Marcos Cotilla when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Baykal Yanal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Moisés Novaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Baykal Yanal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcos Cotilla. That made the score 3-2 in the 45 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Berganza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Abraham Alguacil's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Moisés Novaes firmly grabbed it by the left post. Cenap İğdemir scored 4-2 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Cotilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cenap İğdemir, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulinho Batista in the 65th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
