The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rdth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Tomas Viviano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tomas Viviano came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Luis Andino. But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 8th minute of play forced Defensores del Tiki Tiki's goalkeeper Tomas Viviano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Viviano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 9th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Montenegro in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomas Viviano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Tomas Viviano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Viviano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Tomas Viviano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 32 minutes into the game, Agustín Saelices cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Tomas Viviano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 35 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tomas Viviano. Defensores del Tiki Tiki's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Tomas Viviano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 38th minute of play. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 39th play minutes Cristian Sancho shot 0-7, a short shot which went by Tomas Viviano and just under the crossbar into goal. Tomas Viviano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Tomas Viviano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 60th minute, Ecuador's Luis Andino ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tomas Viviano. Tomas Viviano yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-11. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tomas Viviano came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristian Sancho slotted it home off the left post making it 0-12 in the 63rd minute. With an all-out effort, Ecuador's Tomas Viviano threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luis Andino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristian Sancho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tomas Viviano. That made the score 0-13 in the 68 minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Luis Andino notched a goal, 0-14, to the right of Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Tomas Viviano. Tomas Viviano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 74 minutes into the game, Luis Andino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tomas Viviano. Luis Andino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-15. 77 minutes into the match, Defensores del Tiki Tiki's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Tomas Viviano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Defensores del Tiki Tiki's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Tomas Viviano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Viviano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Juan Sebastián Puig showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-16 in the 80 minute of play. Benicio Perfecto kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Defensores del Tiki Tiki.
