Ciriaco Terciero hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Joaquin Gayoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Ozan Heybetli sped through Uruguay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ozan Heybetli in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. In the 93rd minute, Ozan Heybetli made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Uruguay players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Hammarby Sjöstad.
