Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Samsunspor's Müfit Tolgahan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. İsmail Orhun Aktaşoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Pardo in the 5th minute of play. Hector Covarrubias struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. İsmail Orhun Aktaşoğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paraguay. Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 13th minute, Jaime Pardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 21st minute, Samsunspor's Müfit Tolgahan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 26 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Habib Kutlar came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Paraguay's Jaime Pardo in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Samsunspor's goalie prevented a goal. The throw-in from Habib Kutlar in the 32nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Paraguay's Xavier Zoido. İsmail Orhun Aktaşoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Pardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samsunspor's İsmail Orhun Aktaşoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Pardo in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Habib Kutlar in the 44th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 45 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Pardo. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jaime Pardo to strike the kick off in the second half. Tamer Mengüç hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Jaime Pardo let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 59th minute shot 1-2 at rihgt post. Jaime Pardo in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of İsmail Orhun Aktaşoğlu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jaime Pardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but İsmail Orhun Aktaşoğlu made a huge save. Jaime Pardo kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 68thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Samsunspor's keeper İsmail Orhun Aktaşoğlu was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 69th minute, Jaime Pardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Habib Kutlar hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. If Jaime Pardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Samsunspor's zone, Jaime Pardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. İsmail Orhun Aktaşoğlu came out of the goal and Jaime Pardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jaime Pardo in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck İsmail Orhun Aktaşoğlu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. İsmail Orhun Aktaşoğlu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaime Pardo in the 82nd minute. Hector Covarrubias struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. İsmail Orhun Aktaşoğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paraguay. Primitivo Escribano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. İsmail Orhun Aktaşoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jaime Pardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but İsmail Orhun Aktaşoğlu made a huge save.
