Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, Tomas Snow successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Camilo Gisbert made in the 84th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by El Renacer del Quijano FC's Kalin Golubarev. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Ubarna in the 88th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Tomas Snow made a huge save. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
