With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Abeita got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 30 minutes into the match, Eliseo Frances had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eliseo Frances was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. AC 1986 Vinalito's Richmond De Worteleere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 34th minute of play. Richmond De Worteleere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santino Seco in the 36th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abram Sarmiento was the one to do the kick off. Axel Montenegro scored 1-1 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Richmond De Worteleere, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Eliseo Frances came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the AC 1986 Vinalito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Frances couldn't finish the play. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Richmond De Worteleere. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. Richmond De Worteleere made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Montenegro in the 57th minute. Abram Sarmiento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. Colombia's Kevin Mastache got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. AC 1986 Vinalito's Severo Argi was substituted for Marcin Wietrzychowski. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Abram Secada managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colombia's supporters rose to their feet, but Abram Secada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Richmond De Worteleere breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 85th minute, Eliseo Frances made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Aristides Jon kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Richmond De Worteleere made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abram Secada in the 88th minute. AC 1986 Vinalito's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Abram Secada scored to the left of an out of position Richmond De Worteleere, making the score, 2-2. In the 91st match minute, AC 1986 Vinalito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristides Jon to maneuver through the defense.
