In the 10th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl Forsberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The wind increased when Henry Erserman made the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carl Forsberg having to make a save. Filip Tzenov was slow to take the kick. During this time Käka Puck BK's players had a chance to rest. Primitivo Andino's late challenge caught a Käka Puck BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Primitivo Andino helped the player get up and apologised. Primitivo Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 65 minutes into the game, Primitivo Andino threw the ball into play from the sideline. Käka Puck BK's Gustav Busk quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Käka Puck BK's Mikael Bengtsson was substituted for Adam Walkowski. Käka Puck BK made a substitution. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carl Forsberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mikael Bengtsson went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After 87 minutes, Björn Johnsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Käka Puck BK and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Carl Forsberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 89th minute. The audience was convinced that Mikael Bengtsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew the final whistle, Käka Puck BK could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
