Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Honduras's Edmundo Espiga started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Min Ordoña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Min Ordoña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Moises Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th match minute, AFC Viola Gigliati was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolado Rosell to maneuver through the defense. Min Ordoña didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmundo Espiga went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinaldo Briceño in the 33rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in AFC Viola Gigliati's zone, Sebastian Villa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Min Ordoña came out of the goal and Sebastian Villa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Waldir Velaz got free with Lautaro Navarro in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 43rd minute, Luca Espinar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Waldir Velaz fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AFC Viola Gigliati's protests and gave Waldir Velaz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to AFC Viola Gigliati getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Waldir Velaz hit a great ball. In the 45th minute, Moises Tafalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, AFC Viola Gigliati's Waldir Velaz got a free kick in the 46th minute. 47 minutes into the match, AFC Viola Gigliati's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Min Ordoña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Reinaldo Briceño stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Min Ordoña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Villa in the 51st minute of the match. A collision led to AFC Viola Gigliati getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Rolado Rosell hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Min Ordoña saved AFC Viola Gigliati from getting behind. Etxahun Domao got a throw-in 61 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Samuel Horduña. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldir Velaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 64th minute Christian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Min Ordoña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 73rd match minute, AFC Viola Gigliati was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolado Rosell to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Min Ordoña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Luca Espinar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Honduras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AFC Viola Gigliati the free kick. AFC Viola Gigliati made a substitution. Dunixi Bueno replaced Guillermo Barzana. The supporters of AFC Viola Gigliati booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Espinar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elorri Palmer kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After 81 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Milagros Cabal. In the 82nd minute of the match Dunixi Bueno shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lautaro Navarro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Enrico Cicero came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the AFC Viola Gigliati fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enrico Cicero couldn't finish the play. In the 88th minute, Sebastian Villa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Honduras booed when AFC Viola Gigliati was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldir Velaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute, Ivan Navarro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Horduña in the 93rd minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Milagros Cabal kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
