Jarl Bredberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to FC Blåvitt getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Stig Fredriksson hit a great ball. Daniel Zorita, 9 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilian Bâlea, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 17 minutes in the game, Apoena Herrero fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Julio Vera having to interfere. Jarl Bredberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 18th minute of the match. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Blåvitt's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gil Talavera in the 23rd minute of the match. Jarl Bredberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute of the match. In the 24thth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Blåvitt's Jarl Bredberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Gil Talavera could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Julio Vera however easily saved by the left post. In the 27th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Jarl Bredberg. FC Blåvitt's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The supporters of Ecuador booed when FC Blåvitt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apoena Herrero didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 30 played minutes FC Blåvitt got a freekick which was hit by Andy Robertsson. Jarl Bredberg came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Luis Andino. But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilian Bâlea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute FC Blåvitt were awarded a corner. Gil Talavera went to the cornerflag to take it. After some careless play in the FC Blåvitt defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jarl Bredberg. The FC Blåvitt fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jarl Bredberg should have stopped the shot. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gil Talavera kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Gil Talavera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 57th minute of the match, Cristian Sancho got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jarl Bredberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 59 minutes, Agustín Saelices mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the FC Blåvitt players grew even worse after the yellow card. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gil Talavera, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute, Gil Talavera made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. The score was now 1-6. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 78th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apoena Herrero in the 90th minute of the match. Gil Talavera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
