An unexpectedly hard shot by Liviu Gogu in the 14th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Liviu Gogu put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. In the 25thth minute of the game Liviu Gogu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Liviu Gogu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. With a little luck, Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso got control of the ball when Liviu Gogu tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Delphine Stars getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Cosme Cruz hit a great ball. After 29 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Carballal. An unexpected shot in the 30th minute by Liviu Gogu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Liviu Gogu took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Joaquin Gayoso made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Vyacheslav Korolev sent off a good shot on target. When %teams%'s Liviu Gogu was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 3-0 just inside the left pole, 35 minutes into the game. Joaquin Gayoso was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Fabian Kornecki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liviu Gogu in the 41st minute of play. After 45 played minutes Delphine Stars got a freekick which was hit by Ferdinand Hohenzollern. After recieving a nice pass, Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla tried to score from far away in the 46th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 47 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Carballal. Vyacheslav Korolev was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 48th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Seco to make the kick off. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liviu Gogu, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 54th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Beldad to maneuver through the defense. When Liviu Gogu came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Delphine Stars fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Liviu Gogu couldn't finish the play. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liviu Gogu in the 57th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Liviu Gogu made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liviu Gogu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joaquin Gayoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 87 minutes, Liviu Gogu made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Liviu Gogu in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. In the 96th minute Liviu Gogu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delphine Stars's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
