Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thibaut Bernadet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. corsaire nantais were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mamadou Clermont took the corner. The corner led corsaire nantais's François Perre to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thibaut Bernadet in the 18th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Venezuela booed when corsaire nantais was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thibaut Bernadet didn't get a good kick on the ball. François Perre made in the 27th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Mamadou Clermont however managed to control. Tobias Siggman struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for corsaire nantais. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Thibaut Bernadet kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-0 in the 35 minute of play. Thibaut Bernadet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 40 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Thibaut Bernadet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Thibaut Bernadet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tobias Siggman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 48th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. 49 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Mamadou Clermont came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Tobias Siggman hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 57 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Thibaut Bernadet came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thibaut Bernadet in the 58th minute of the match. Tobias Siggman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. corsaire nantais's Tobias Siggman got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. corsaire nantais's Yves Fuchs was substituted for Thibaut Bernadet. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yves Fuchs, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 79thth minute of the game Tobias Siggman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 84th minute of play forced corsaire nantais's goalkeeper Melvin Passemard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yves Fuchs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. corsaire nantais made a substitution. Clément Dupouy replaced Chu Fan Qiang. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tobias Siggman in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Yves Fuchs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 97 minutes of play, corsaire nantais's Yves Fuchs made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. corsaire nantais fully deserved thier win.
