With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aron Blom in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. In the 16th minute Aron Blom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aron Blom did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant 23 minutes into the match. After 30 minutes, Aron Blom made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 37 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arne Back. Arne Back could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. A collision led to Mountainhammer United getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Kaj Ödmann hit a great ball. In the 55th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roar Klev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aron Blom went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Roar Klev made a huge save. 65 minutes into the match, Aron Blom had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aron Blom was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Roar Klev made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. In the 74thth minute of the game Aron Blom who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aron Blom in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 77 minutes into the match, Arne Back had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arne Back was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. After having played for 93 minutes, Arne Back managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mountainhammer United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arne Back was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There was no doubt that Mountainhammer United were the better team. Mountainhammer United's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
