The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 15 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Guilherme Alagoano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 21st minute, Agustín Saelices made a precise shot to the right of Guilherme Alagoano. FC PROSPE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 23rd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guilherme Alagoano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guilherme Alagoano having to interfere. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Camilo Gisbert hit a great ball. Guilherme Alagoano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 32nd minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Franco Iranzo notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. When Ecuador's Luis Andino in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC PROSPE's goalie prevented a goal. The FC PROSPE players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Guilherme Alagoano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC PROSPE's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Guilherme Alagoano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Guilherme Alagoano made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Ignacio Cabrera kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, FC PROSPE's goalkeeper Guilherme Alagoano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC PROSPE's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. The FC PROSPE fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
