Xie Chuan was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 程浩卫 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Gaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 程浩卫 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Lorenzo Cazalla hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lautaro Mancebo came free with the goalkeeper in the 66th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and 程浩卫 could save by the left post. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xie Chuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the match, Xie Chuan notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 73 played minutes Swift GTi got a freekick which was hit by Joško Gvardiol. 程浩卫 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute.
