When Luca Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luca Zorita couldn't finish the play. Macos Graciani hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miguel Orlondon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 43rd minute of play.

Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Miguel Orlondon made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Ettore Varglien's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. PICCOLE PESTI's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Alberto Tafalla scored to the left of an out of position Miguel Orlondon, making the score, 1-1. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Miguel Orlondon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 89 minutes of play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Miguel Orlondon was left in no man's land by his defense there! PICCOLE PESTI's Miguel Orlondon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Zorita in the 96th minute of play. With his leg Miguel Orlondon managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when Mexico's Luca Zorita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mexico played a much better game than PICCOLE PESTI and deserved their victory. The PICCOLE PESTI players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
