Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 于钢迅 in the 19th minute of the match. 于钢迅's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 于钢迅 in the 33rd minute of play. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 武耀卫 charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 武耀卫 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 45 played minutes, Chile's Mariano Lacasa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper 陶翔平 came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chile reached it. 于钢迅 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when 于钢迅 made the kick off in the second half. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 于钢迅, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute, Mariano Lacasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 陶翔平 was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 76th minute 于钢迅 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 于钢迅 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thiago Pliego having to make a save. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 于钢迅 in the 77th minute of play. 于钢迅 scored 2-2 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thiago Pliego, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Felix Garrido hit a great ball. 于钢迅 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute.
