Gilberto Gabirel scored 1-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Camilo Freixa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Al Bundy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Camilo Freixa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Gilberto Gabirel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Camilo Freixa was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Julio Chicote's late challenge caught a • REGINA •'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julio Chicote helped the player get up and apologised. In the 94th minute, Julio Chicote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Camilo Freixa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Quiñones in the 95th minute of play. • REGINA •'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
