The referee ignored Bolivia's protests and gave Benito Madrid a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th match minute, Bolivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benito Madrid to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the game, Kirstein Frydkjær recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Camilo Freixa. Kirstein Frydkjær showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-1. Anko Anko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Fontirroig, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Camilo Freixa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Blas Mannuel to strike the kick off in the second half.
