Adrien Tanneau was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 13 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafail Rusev. In the 15th minute, Orlando Casaus made a precise shot to the right of Adrien Tanneau. Valette Stars's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Mathys Chassot hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafail Rusev, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Rafail Rusev tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 35th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrien Tanneau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute of the match Chile got a corner. Valette Stars's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariano Lacasa ran over to the corner to take the kick. Chile's Alan Tamayo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Adrien Tanneau in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Pierre-Antoine Landemaine hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the match, Valette Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Adrien Tanneau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 39 minutes of play, Chile's Mariano Lacasa made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adrien Tanneau was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guillaume Chaine to strike the kick off in the second half. Adrien Tanneau made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. Mariano Lacasa in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Adrien Tanneau, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 54th minute, Orlando Casaus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valette Stars made a substitution. Dan Pruvot replaced Pierre-Antoine Landemaine. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillaume Chaine in the 57th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adrien Tanneau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 60th minute of the match. If Fabian Walme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd match minute, Valette Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathys Chassot to maneuver through the defense. Adrien Tanneau made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. Felix Garrido made in the 65th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Valette Stars's Mathys Chassot. Chile were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Valette Stars's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mariano Lacasa took the corner. In the 71st match minute, Valette Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurice Crochard to maneuver through the defense. Adrien Tanneau was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Orlando Casaus showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 72 minute of play. A throw-in in the 78th minute of the game was made by Mathys Chassot with Rafail Rusev as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Felix Garrido kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After 86 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Pozo. When Maurice Crochard came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Valette Stars fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maurice Crochard couldn't finish the play. Adrien Tanneau was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Mariano Lacasa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mariano Lacasa really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Chile had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
