The audience thought a goal was coming when Horea Savin got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 5th minute of play forced ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™'s goalkeeper Hamílton Loyola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute, Alex Cambeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Harald Teissen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcos Cotilla. That made the score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. Arne Strunk hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™'s Hamílton Loyola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 20th minute of play. Tomas Berganza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hamílton Loyola having to make a save. In the 25thth minute of the game Harald Teissen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Panama's Marcos Cotilla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™'s Hamílton Loyola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamílton Loyola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anton Peter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 34th minute. Penalty! In the 35th minute there was a penalty for Panama. Abraham Alguacil stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hamílton Loyola. 1-1. Panama's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Harald Teissen scored to the left of an out of position Marcos Cotilla, making the score, 2-1. Thanks to some nice moves Anton Peter could shoot a difficult shot in the 44th minute, which Marcos Cotilla however easily saved by the left post. Dylan Sarmiento kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Peter in the 46th minute of the match. After 50 minutes ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Abraham Alguacil who took care of the corner kick.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Berganza to strike the kick off in the second half. With a left leg Marcos Cotilla saved Panama from getting behind. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamílton Loyola having to interfere. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horea Savin in the 86th minute of play. Tomas Berganza's late challenge caught a ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomas Berganza helped the player get up and apologised. Tomas Berganza kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The supporters of ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™ booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dylan Sarmiento didn't get a good kick on the ball.
