When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Adrian Neubauer sent off a good shot on target. 25 minutes into the match, FC Temeswar Banat's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Aimé Holtmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa came out and tried to block the shot, but Agapito Diaz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 42nd minute. Jan Hoffmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
The wind increased when Adrian Neubauer made the kick off in the second half. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Neubauer in the 55th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, FC Temeswar Banat's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Aimé Holtmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Luque kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Adrian Neubauer managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Temeswar Banat's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrian Neubauer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aimé Holtmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 93rd minute of the match. After 96 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Rouco. Adrian Neubauer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The FC Temeswar Banat fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mexico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
