The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. 邓真义 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Aaron Barrios hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claudio-Paul Caniggia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. Abraham Alguacil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Panama defense, Claudio-Paul Caniggia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. After a rather tough play, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento got a free kick in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Talib Temelj made a kick off. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Čubrilo Romero, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. When Čubrilo Romero got free in front of the goal in the 51st minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Marcos Cotilla was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 56thth minute of the game Talib Temelj who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Panama's Marcos Cotilla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Talib Temelj's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcos Cotilla was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio-Paul Caniggia in the 60th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Talib Temelj notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. For all the effort they put into the match, the Panama players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Psycho-Circus.
