Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Stefan Pieters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Romero came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Champions Iasi's Bérenger Pilet ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The referee gave Venezuela a penalty, 25 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tomas Illescas, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Champions Iasi's Broderick Ceney. 1-1. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Broderick Ceney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Bérenger Pilet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Champions Iasi's supporters rose to their feet, but Bérenger Pilet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 31st minute, Rigoberto Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Alessandro Sarmento from long distance, 33 minutes into the match, got Jonathan Ferrant's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 34th minute, Vlad Dobrotă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the match, Waldemar Gierlach notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 40thth minute of the game Waldemar Gierlach who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 43rd match minute, Champions Iasi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harri Takavirta to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Waldemar Gierlach made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Waldemar Gierlach in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Waldemar Gierlach put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Stefan Pieters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. After 59th play minutes Waldemar Gierlach shot 4-1, a short shot which went by Jonathan Ferrant and just under the crossbar into goal. After 62 minutes, Waldemar Gierlach made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Waldemar Gierlach in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Broderick Ceney made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. 68 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Romero came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Broderick Ceney saved Champions Iasi from getting behind. Waldemar Gierlach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Romero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the game, Waldemar Gierlach cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldemar Gierlach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldemar Gierlach in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 92nd minute Waldemar Gierlach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd match minute, Champions Iasi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Romero to maneuver through the defense. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Champions Iasi were the better team. Champions Iasi's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
