Amílton Dantas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorrin Briones, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 48th match minute, Grêmio Meia Praia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Normando to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amador Menendo made a kick off. But to his dismay, Luiz Gustavo Dante quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Amílton Dantas made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Jerrold Taranco sent off a good shot on target. 81 minutes into the match, Grêmio Meia Praia's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Salah came free, but Amílton Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
