The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Enrique Cassaretto took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Pankracy Glogowski to make any attempt to save it. Pankracy Glogowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Cassaretto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pankracy Glogowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Emil Chwalkiewicz fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético Atlanta's protests and gave Emil Chwalkiewicz a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Emil Chwalkiewicz. 24 minutes into the game, Enrique Cassaretto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pankracy Glogowski. Enrique Cassaretto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. 27 minutes into the game, Enrique Cassaretto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Pankracy Glogowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. CD Municipal's George Forsyth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paolo Caradaro in the 31st minute of play. George Forsyth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Caradaro in the 33rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pankracy Glogowski. That made the score 5-0 after 34 minutes of play. 38 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Pankracy Glogowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enrique Cassaretto. After 41 minutes CD Municipal's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Emil Chwalkiewicz who took care of the corner kick. After 41 minutes, Remigio Erramu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético Atlanta and the CD Municipal players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Club Atlético Atlanta getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Remigio Erramu hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Şevket Çağa made the kick off in the second half. If Enrique Cassaretto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oalo Dean's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pankracy Glogowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Paolo Caradaro made in the 60th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Şevket Çağa immediately put the ball in play. With a little luck, CD Municipal's George Forsyth got control of the ball when Şevket Çağa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pankracy Glogowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oalo Dean in the 65th minute of the match.
