Alcorcón's goal looked a bit too open when Jorrin Briones came free, but Maurino Serena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Jorrin Briones cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Maurino Serena was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena got control of the ball when Jorrin Briones tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alcorcón's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Herminio Miera was slow to take the kick. During this time Rapsodas Red Devils FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 93rd minute Jerrold Taranco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurino Serena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerrold Taranco in the 94th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Rapsodas Red Devils FC fully deserved thier win.
