The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 6 minutes, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Villa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dante Urko kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 9th minute Honduras were awarded a corner. Edmundo Espiga went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Edmundo Espiga got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Melquiades Maura quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mili Barrios's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mili Barrios helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Honduras booed when Chuscha FC - Ψ - was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mili Barrios didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Maura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Urko hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Chuscha FC - Ψ -'s Mili Barrios got a free kick in the 31st minute. The supporters of Honduras booed when Chuscha FC - Ψ - was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Americo Guerrero didn't get a good kick on the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Honduras's Moises Tafalla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Melquiades Maura made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 40th match minute, Chuscha FC - Ψ - was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dante Urko to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the game, Sebastian Villa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Melquiades Maura was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 43rd match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Espinar to maneuver through the defense. Esteban Carvallo charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Esteban Carvallo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Esteban Carvallo got a free kick in the 47th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Espiga made a kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Dante Urko in the 55th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Emanuel Ocampo. If Rafael Ondino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melquiades Maura came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Honduras's Edmundo Espiga. But to his dismay, Edmundo Espiga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 75 minutes into the match, Chuscha FC - Ψ -'s goalkeeper Melquiades Maura had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmundo Espiga. Dante Urko made in the 77th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ivan Dolcet immediately put the ball in play. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Moises Tafalla got a free kick in the 80th minute. A collision led to Chuscha FC - Ψ - getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Mili Barrios hit a great ball. Edmundo Espiga struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Melquiades Maura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. After 90 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Edmundo Espiga. Melquiades Maura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Chuscha FC - Ψ - fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Honduras were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
