Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. If Bruno Sauveur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Loco Gatti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sportivo Mela Banco's Miromir Ciechocki got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bruno Sauveur who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ahmet Korkut Ateşoğlu hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Patricio Costa's late challenge caught a Sportivo Mela Banco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patricio Costa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute, Miromir Ciechocki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Miromir Ciechocki struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sportivo Mela Banco. After 52 minutes, Jose Correa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Sportivo Mela Banco players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miromir Ciechocki in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Bruno Sauveur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sportivo Mela Banco's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruno Sauveur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 69th minute 尹剑彬 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when 尹剑彬 came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 尹剑彬 in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 82 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when 尹剑彬 came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 84th play minutes 尹剑彬 shot 6-0, a short shot which went by Jonathan Ferrant and just under the crossbar into goal. Venezuela:s Jonathan Ferrant showed great skill when he stopped Ahmet Rıfat Sehriyar:s penalty. Sportivo Mela Banco had played much better football throughout.
