Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mariano Lacasa got the match started through his kick off. Ergo Muro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 5th minute of the match. When Orlando Casaus came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Chile fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orlando Casaus couldn't finish the play. Ergo Muro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Casaus, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ergo Muro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Mariano Lacasa struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Ergo Muro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chile. In the 20th match minute, Caatiba MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Neville Garner to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute Orlando Casaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ergo Muro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute of the match, Rodriguinho Linhares got a very nice opportunity to score, but Thiago Pliego was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some careless play in the Caatiba MZC defense, Mariano Lacasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ergo Muro. The Caatiba MZC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ergo Muro should have stopped the shot. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Caatiba MZC's Jorge Henrique. But to his dismay, Jorge Henrique quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Niceto Ihazintu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Thiago Pliego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rodriguinho Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

After 53 played minutes Caatiba MZC got a freekick which was hit by Ezequiel Nunes. In the 57th minute, Chile's Alan Tamayo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alan Tamayo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Chile protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alan Tamayo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chile! If Orlando Casaus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Henrique, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute, Rodriguinho Linhares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caatiba MZC's Ergo Muro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Casaus in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute Niceto Ihazintu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Henrique, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Ihazintu in the 91st minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Chile's Francisco Carballar got a free kick in the 95th minute.
